I *love* the moon / star bow and arrow. Such a nice connection.

He got cut off. He was trying to say:

“Great day in the morning.
My afternoon’s not looking so good, though…”

Loved this story at the time, to the point where I of course had to pick it up when in print this year too. In particular, it had some incredibly fun understated moments for Illyana. bsky.app/profile/ianx...
@tombrevoort.bsky.social Let me put in a request for the “Agents of T.H.A.N.K.S” story from X-Men: From the Ashes 22-25 to get a print edition in time for next Thanksgiving. A heartwarming story which gave me the feels for Beak and family, and included Illyana being adorably goofy with kids.

I assume her being born in Harlem wasn’t decided until after this calendar (she was still a new character in ‘76!) but yes, “Africa” could have used some more specificity.

Kind of awesome that the Moonstar logo uses the classic New Mutants font. (Of course, if the series continues, or if she gets another, I hope she'll get her own, more personalized, logo.)

Congrats! This was a really fun story. And if it means we might get more, hopefully that tiny cameo of Illyana can turn into a bigger role for "year two."

Ooh, yeah, something with Magik...

Thanks?

YES! I love when you draw Illyana!

Ah! Is that why my "continue reading" list isn't loading?

Time for a scientific study. Invite some friends over for a dinner party, and just as everyone sits down to eat, say you forgot to fill a water jug, and you’ll be right back. Very obviously take the water jug into the bathroom, fill it from there, and bring it back. Notice what happens next.
