The Israeli government has adopted the double-strike tactic used by Bashar al-Assad in Syria: target a hospital or heavily populated area, then hit it again when rescue workers, reporters and medics turn up, to kill or maim them too. Hideous war crimes piled one upon another.

I'd like an apology from @marycreagh.bsky.social please. She claimed my column on the Planning and Infrastructure Bill was "deeply misleading". She failed to explain why. But it was an accurate explanation of the problems with the Bill.
Ministers should not make unsubstantiated and untrue claims.

We all recognise smoking kills , that's why tobacco ads were banned in 2002 . Fossil fuels kill too & according to a study in BMJ , cause 5.1 million deaths per year .
