Yes it is. Also, it’s easy to get mad at trolls. Good luck. I’m sorry you’re so mad.

Good people get mad when other people sit still and complain while the rest of us work to figure out what to do about it.

Also. I voted for Harris. Proudly. And Biden before her. And Hillary before him, and Obama before her.

While you do that I’ll be here trying to make payroll for my employees. You’re damn right I’m a capitalist. Business has an incredible opportunity to do an incredible amount of good. In fact it created the situation that allow you to sit where you’re sitting comfortably and do what you’re doing

You think you’re in the fight, but you’re lobbing Molotov cocktails from the sidelines. Go write your congressperson. Run for something. Start something.
April 6, 2025 at 4:40 PM
What universe are you in? Did you read my post or bother to spend any time behind that keyboard doing literally any amount of research before you fire off a post that makes you feel good but isn’t based in reality.
April 6, 2025 at 4:40 PM
I agree with you completely. This is the outline for a letter to your congressperson. We need the government to invest in these things, not penalize businesses. This guy is all stick and no carrot. I appreciate the back and forth for sure.
April 6, 2025 at 4:36 PM
Thanks. Much appreciated.
April 6, 2025 at 4:34 PM
Tough guy behind their keyboard.

In his case, I completely agree. Failure is only helpful whenever some ability to self-reflect exists.

Curious. What was it that made you think I might not be a democrat? Was it because I said I love my country?
April 6, 2025 at 3:23 AM
It’s not far off you’re right. But historically the funds you’re talking about for that type of long-term high-risk investment come from the government (direct or via academia). Thats the rub.

It’s not too late.

If the situation itself isn’t enough to “calibrate your GAF meter”, then I don’t know what to tell you.
April 5, 2025 at 7:14 PM
Lotta people feeling that way this week.
April 5, 2025 at 7:09 PM
A) I love you to death, Matty.

B) CAN YOU NOT TELL WHO I VOTED FOR BY THE TONE AND NATURE OF MY POST? IN WHAT WORLD DO YOU THINK THAT I WOULD BE WRITING IF I VOTED FOR CAPTAIN DUMBASS?
April 5, 2025 at 7:09 PM
It’s true, 57% voted for Trump and 68% of voters overall thought he was better for small business…so lots of minds need to change.

That’s true, but de minimus ALSO made it possible for huge companies (Temu etc) to ship direct from China to customers for no duty at all, and flood the market with super cheap low quality goods, which made it harder on the rest of us producers.
April 5, 2025 at 7:00 PM
Agree, Dustin.
April 5, 2025 at 6:55 PM
Despite the fact that small business makes up almost half of GDP, I do not.
April 5, 2025 at 6:53 PM
First, you spelled my name wrong.

Second, if you’re wondering who I voted for, you missed the point.

Third, It’s pretty easy watching from the cheap seats I bet.

“Black” and “woman” have less to do with it than “smart” and “idiot”

Amen

I don’t minding failing at business. Trying and failing are how we grow and how innovation happens. What I mind is when a leader acts like a hot bag of a$$holes because he thinks he’s better than us.
April 5, 2025 at 6:22 PM
No way! I may hate Trump, but I still love America. I think there is room for everybody to win here.
