We keep winning

And then we keep losing again

We will continue to fight for the rights, representation and acceptance of LGBTQIA+ people, at home and across the globe.

Always hoping for the day when we no longer have to.

In the words of our Proud Watford patron and veteran Bryan Timberlake – now 92:

“...freedom and peace, won on the backs of the brave men and women we remember today is very precious. Hard won. Never given.
In the years to come, please remember, it's our job to defend what's right.
Human & Proud.“

Media obsession with trans issues would have many people think that gender fluidity, questioning and transition is a new thing.

Today we celebrate those who fight for equal rights & representation, and will continue to do so for Watford and our neighbours.

Highly recommended read - how a gay Muslim man found himself, then the charity Hidayah, the Glasgow Frontrunners, inclusive badminton, and love. Such a heartwarming tale on Pride of the Terraces. Thank you Ahmed and @ahenderson96.bsky.social for sharing 🙏
