Trump has removed National Parks free entry days for two national holidays - MLK and Juneteenth.

He’s replaced them with his birthday.
National parks change prioritizes Trump birthday over days honoring Black people
Free entrance days at national parks no longer include MLK Day and Juneteenth.

Americans will no longer get free entry to federal parks on Martin Luther King Day.

They will, however, on Trump’s June 14 birthday.

Literally the sort of thing dictators do.

If only there was something a government could do to stop such donations from dodgy business men based abroad (not paying UK tax) using dodgy currencies to fund corrupt populist leaders. But it seems not. Oh well.
One Christopher Harborne, British billionaire businessman crypto investor who helped bankroll Brexit, based in Thailand, just donated a record £9mn to Reform UK. Here & the US the flowing of huge sums to the Far Right influencing democracy.

Brexit was exactly that. A petulant door-slamming. A rejection of cooperation, protection and opportunity for all of us because the wealthy rightwing elites didn’t want to play by shared rules. And knew they could exploit ignorance/prejudice to achieve that.

Reduced bike parking at Macc Railway Station. There was a large well used facility. This photo shows the new facility on a Sunday morning. It could easily have been larger.

Our economic woes are caused by Brexit, (Ukraine), Covid, Brexit’s ugly baby - our dismal immigration policy, Truss budget, 14yrs of austerity…
All rightwing policies.
Quite mad that our media acts as if Labour’s budget is the end of days, when they failed to adequately scrutinise any of
that👆shit.

-I think, PM, that loops are stationary objects
-Unless the PM is using loop as a verb, as in "The pilot looped the plane". I suppose trees could make a pilot pull up sharply, but if that became a loop then they'd still hit them
-Thank you, Bernard!
