Officially out of the 'Pleasant' starter levels (1 through 10) and onto the 'Painful' levels (11 through 20) on wanikani.com!
I've now learned 1,107 vocabulary words made up of 361 kanji characters made up of 232 radicals. That's a lot of learning!

Learning Japanese has become an every day habit for me, slowly inching my way to understanding. I'm _really_ not great at memorization, so I get a huge dopamine hit when I actually *do* understand something. 😂
Now if only I had the time to add the many other resources I have saved to my routine!

First year not going back home for the holidays and it feels weird, but doing the maiden voyage on the Disney Cruise Line's newest ship, the Disney Treasure, has been a real treat and a great way to disconnect and spend lots of time with my wife and daughter.

I've been having a lot of fun playing Pokemon TCG Pocket, a more modern take on the Pokemon Trading Card game I played in paper form many, many years ago.
Collecting cards is still a lot of fun, battling is enjoyable, and the full art cards you can get are awesome.
