Here to engage with Tudor ( mostly) and WW1 historians and friends as this is my passion 👑. Also a big fan of Gary Numan 🎹. Member of The Great War Group. #WW1
This sounds great and worth doing if you can.
This January I’m launching an online course for people passionate about History. This isn’t a historian telling you things, it’s designed to turn you from a vociferous reader into someone who is starting to think like a historian themselves… Sign up details: introtohistory.eventbrite.com

Very informative and an awful lot better than reading about politics all the time 😊. Love Lindsey’s posts.
Well, if you're looking for a distraction from politics, come on over to the weird and wonderful world of medical history! If you ever wondered what would happen if you needed a leg amputated in 1832, or if you had a toothache in 1765 - look no further. Bloodlettings! Bodysnatchers! I got it all.

If you can make this, go, you won’t be disappointed. Alex and Kate are excellent hosts and you will learn loads even if you have been before. I went two years ago and am seriously thinking of doing it again soon.

Attended an excellent talk last night by @hallierubenhold.bsky.social on Story of a murder, The Wives, The Mistress and Doctor Crippen at The National Archives. Hallie is a great conversationalist. Go to another talk by her or / and read the book, you won’t be disappointed.

I can’t get over all these packages I must have ordered whilst drunk or something. I’m getting three or more e mails a day from different couriers asking me for my details as I have packages waiting to be delivered!!. Who sends this stuff? I wonder how many people fall for them? Rant over!
