Does anyone have the link for the family stand redevelopment proposals from years ago? I think Trew may have been in charge.

Kouhyar has to start ahead of Nick T. Let’s also try alternative attacking approaches that don’t rely entirely on crosses into the box. Shoot from outside the box. Attack through the middle more. Hopefully Jodie back next week too although I thought Bennett’s did well.

Reflections from today…Colchester outsmarted us and we need to learn from that. Our attacking was far too slow and predictable, our crossing was too easily dealt it. They were more clinical. We need to get the ball to Jatta in a better way so he gets more chances.

Watching the documentary reminded me that we gifted shares to Sven. I believe it was 2.5 % with another 2.5 % if we got to the premier league.

Some observations from today. The subs all made a positive impact. Jarvis was outstanding and needs to play more. The crossing generally was poor. Ness was my motm. We are sometimes too lightweight and get outmuscled.

Fantastic win, excellent first half, lots of positives. COYP.

Watching MOTD and notice Sunderland’s kit is Hummel, a Danish brand, I remember it was popular with kits in the 80s. It looks good too 👍🏻.

I wonder if the training ground is nearing completion?

Well, all cup distractions have been successfully eliminated…now we can solely concentrate on the league!!

One observation from last night is when we’re passing out from the back we tend to go down dead ends a lot rather than switching play to a player who is available.

Looking at positives, Ness was outstanding 👍🏻.

Too many things to unpick there, but ultimately we got what we deserved, nothing.

Great to see inflatable magpies/ penguins from the Notts fans 👍🏻👍🏻

We look sluggish. They seem to want it more. Passing is sloppy too.

You pies!!

Good point last night. A few observations. Jatta, Hall and grant involved in both goals. Our throw ins need a bit of work. Most 50/50s tend to not go our way. The team spirit seems solid. First half we struggled to pass and get momentum but got better second half possibly as Swindon tired.

Maybe I’m getting carried away by today’s win, but do we actually need to sign any players in January? The squad looks really strong 👍🏻👍🏻.

Great to see the Nest busy before and after the game 👏🏻👏🏻🖤🤍.
October 4, 2025 at 5:42 PM
Great win, lots of positives. Good team performance, lots of attacking threats, could’ve easily had more goals, demonstrating an ‘identity’. Onwards and upwards 👍🏻👍🏻.

Come on you pies. Interested to see who makes the squad today. Should be a good atmosphere 👏🏻.

Last night demonstrated how good the squad depth is. Jarvis, Bennetts, Ness and Kouhyar have earned their place in Saturdays squad. Lots of attacking options. It feels like we’re improving and gaining an identity.
