Exactly this, it's a very easy conversation starter.
To be fair, it has made me a bit more aware of football that isn't Tottenham.
Everton vs Brighton on Sunday has a bit more relevance to me with FPL involved

It's the combination of that uncontrollable, unhinged anger, together with unaccountable authority, that has been the issue I've faced.

I'm surprised at how little I care about the result. It really is basically a meaningless pre-season exhibition match.
Obviously I'd have loved it if we'd won but we were really good. I'm very encouraged for the coming season.

I don't really know why, but I found Taylor's music incredibly comforting during the covid lockdowns, and that has continued as both my parents have died in the past 5 years.

From an FPL strategy point of view, I avoid triple-ups on any team for Week 1, to allow for flexibility.
Let's dream and say that Solanke is on fire from day 1 - you'll need to make two transfers to get him in.
