WATERING THE SEED DEVOTIONAL MONDAY, 1ST DECEMBER 2025 YOUR MONTH OF GOD'S GOODNESS "Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness." (Psalms 65:11, KJV) Crowns symbolize honour and authority. When someone is crowned, it represents a mark of honour and authority being placed on them, bringing certain privileges and opportunities that were previously unavailable to them. For instance, in Genesis 37:18-36, Joseph's brothers conspired against him, selling him to the Midianites, who then sold him to Potiphar. But in Genesis 41:37-44, he was crowned Prime Minister of Egypt, becoming someone with great authority.

WATERING THE SEED DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY, 8TH OF NOVEMBER, 2025 HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” (Philippians 4:4, KJV) In a world filled with uncertainties and challenges, finding true happiness can seem like an elusive dream. However, the Bible teaches us that happiness is not just a feeling, but a choice. The story was told of a poor man who had a very beautiful wife with whom he lived very happily, so much so that even the king with all his wealth and splendor envied him.

WATERING THE SEED DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, 7TH OF NOVEMBER, 2025 SPEAK UP! "For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." (Matthew 7:8, KJV) There is the account of a man called Bartimaeus in Mark chapter 10 from verse 46 to 52. The Bible says he was not only blind but a beggar as well. I know some persons who are physically blind but their vision is way bigger than a lot of people with physical sight, so the choice to beg was strictly Bartimaeus's.

WATERING THE SEED DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY 4TH OF NOVEMBER, 2025 A NEW THING "Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." (Isaiah 43:19, KJV) We serve a God who means what He says and says only what He means. And when He says He will do a New Thing, then we can be certain that He not only means what He has said but He is also more than able to bring it to pass in our lives.

WATERING THE SEED DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY 23RD OF SEPTEMBER, 2025 THE BLOOD SPEAKS "And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground." (Genesis 4:10, KJV) We see from the above scripture that the human blood has the ability to speak even after one is dead, particularly when the fellow dies in a questionable circumstances. The blood is so powerful that the bible establishes that what makes for life itself is in the blood. "For the life of the flesh is in the blood…" (Leviticus 17:11, KJV)

"I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him." (Ezekiel 21:27, KJV) Kings are no ordinary men, they don't speak carelessly nor do they beg because their words are a decree which is why Ecclesiastes chapter 8 verse 4 says: "Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?" If the words of mere mortals can be so powerful because of an authority vested on them by fellow men then how much more are the words of the King of all kings?

WATERING THE SEED DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY 16TH OF SEPTEMBER, 2025 DIVINE COVERING “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31, KJV) Many years ago, I heard the testimony of a Pastor who had a misunderstanding with his wife, and out of anger, vowed never to forgive or talk with her again and he kept at it for many days until one day, his security guard from Northern Nigeria who barely spoke English, accosted him to enquire about his colleague, the other security guard.

WATERING THE SEED DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY 11TH OF SEPTEMBER, 2025 THE ABUNDANCE OF GOD'S GRACE AND GLORY "For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly." (Psalms 84:11, KJV) Sun gives light while shield is a symbol of protection. We know that God is not only the Sun of righteousness (Malachi 4:2), He is also our present help in trouble (Psalms 46:1). In other words, He both illuminates our paths and shields us.

WATERING THE SEED DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY 9TH OF SEPTEMBER, 2025 WHEN WE NEED ADVERSARIES 3 Adversaries are enemies, those who are opposed to one's growth, success and upliftment. But one beautiful thing about adversaries, particularly as believers, is that their presence stimulates growth. We see in Exodus chapter 1 and verse 12 how the more the Egyptian afflicted the children of Israel, the more they grew. "But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel." In the book of Esther, we see how Haman hated the Jews so badly that he would go any length to destroy them.

"For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts." (2 Kings 3:17, KJV) There are times when years of hard work seem unfruitful, but a single act of favor can yield results beyond expectations. Favour is when you get more than you truly deserve and in some cases, what you don't truly deserve. Favour is when more qualified hands are relegated because God wants to move you up.

WATERING THE SEED DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY, 6TH OF SEPTEMBER, 2025 WHEN WE NEED ADVERSARIES 2 There is always a reason for everything and I believe that adversaries in the lives of believers are actually propellers because they stir us up, cause us to push beyond our perceived limits, and drive us to rest our faith on God for deliverance through prayer.. While I understand that adversities are actually from the devil, God permits them, like in the case of Job, to help us build our faith in Him and to help us navigate through like to get us to our glorious destination so that we can appreciate His mightiness in our lives.

WATERING THE SEED DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, 5TH OF SEPTEMBER, 2025 WHEN WE NEED ADVERSARIES While mosquitoes are widely viewed as pests because they spread diseases like malaria, they indirectly impact our economy positively on the other hand because they encourage scientific research which has led to advances in genetics and public health, and in a sense, create employment. Even though mosquitoes do not set out to cause any positive impact on our lives or economy, their presence has led to both medical and scientific advancements. Similarly, adversaries also play a role in our Christian walk.

"Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go." (Isaiah 48:17, KJV) No man can grow bigger than the one he follows. The limit to which one can grow is dependent on the one lifting him up. In the above scripture, we see God taking responsibility for our profiting and for leading us and we know that it is in Him that all things consists. So if He says He will teach and lead us, then you can be rest assured that your tomorrow will certainly be alright.

WATERING THE SEED DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY, 2ND OF SEPTEMBER, 2025 GOD'S POWER TO RESTORE AND RECOVER ALL "And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives. And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all." (1 Samuel 30:18-19, KJV) To recover all means to retrieve or regain possession of everything that one has lost or that has been stolen or taken away. They could either be spiritual, material, marital, physiological, financial and so on.

"And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God." (1 Samuel 30:6, KJV) Life is full of unexpected twists and turns. One moment we are moving forward, the next, we are faced with challenges that leave us in shock and tears. As God's children, we are not exempt from life's troubles, but we navigate them differently through faith. Consider the Israelites at the Red Sea.

Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof… (Ecclesiastes 7:8, KJV) It is not when a man begins a building project that he rejoices but when he completes it.Anyone can begin a thing but not everyone can complete it. It is not everyone that began this month with us that is seeing today; the last day of the month. I pray for you, beloved, as today marks the last day of the month, so shall it mark the end of whatsoever is not working for you, in Jesus Name!

"And it shall turn to you for a testimony" (Luke 21:13, KJV) Testimonies are personal accounts of supernatural interventions in our lives and are only be traceable to God. They are called miracles. Miracles on the other hand are extraordinary occurrences that goes beyond our 5 senses and defies the laws of nature yet cannot be denied nor explained away and can only be attributed to the God. For example, how do you explain the case of a woman (someone I know personally), who was knocked down by a fast moving vehicle, pronounced medically dead with her corpse being conveyed to the morgue, yet came back to life?

"There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory." (1 Corinthians 15:41, KJV) In Africa, there's a belief that spiritual forces can manipulate, sabotage or influence the success, fortune or destinies of people. This means they can steal, swap or even destroy them altogether, causing individuals to struggle through life or live short of God's original purpose for their lives. In Genesis chapter 27, Jacob, with the help of his mother, Rebekah, deceived Isaac to steal the blessing intended for Esau.

WATERING THE SEED DEVOTIONAL MONDAY, 18TH OF AUGUST, 2025 NOT BREAKING THE RANKS "They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:" (Joel 2:7, KJV) There is an ancient wisdom that says a child who is standing on a building can never see what the elders see, sitting down. Many years ago when I first visited the Republic of Benin, something captured my attention. First, I noticed that they have a dedicated lane for motorcycles and tricycles, something that is absent in my country.

WATERING THE SEED DEVOTIONAL FRIDAY, 15TH OF AUGUST, 2025 SURMOUNTING THE TIDES OF LIFE "For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief." (Proverbs 24:16, KJV) Barack Obama once said, "If you run, you stand a chance of losing, but if you don't run, you've already lost." This quote emphasizes the importance of taking action. You can never know what you're capable of achieving if you don't try. Not trying at all makes you a loser without even attempting, but if you try, even if you lose, you'll learn valuable lessons that will help you improve next time.

“And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” (Mark 16:20, KJV) When the presence of God goes with a man, the life of that fellow will become a sign and a wonder because it will be commanding the supernatural.For example, in Acts of Apostles chapter 5:15, Peter’s shadow became a source of healing and in Acts chapter 19 verses 11-12, handkerchiefs and aprons where taken from Paul to heal the sick because they were carriers of God’s presence.

"And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord." (Luke 1:45, KJV) I once heard God's servant, Bishop David Oyedepo, say that faith is a universal currency that holds the same value in all the nations of the world. Meaning that no matter what nation of the world you may be situated in, if your faith can carry it, then Hand of the Lord will deliver it to you. Faith is believing in the unseen and the result is seeing what you believe.

WATERING THE SEED DEVOTIONAL SATURDAY, 2ND OF AUGUST, 2025 ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES "I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name." (Revelation 3:8, KJV) This scripture reminds us that when God opens a door for us, no one can shut it, and when He shuts a door against our enemies, no matter how hard they try, they can never open it. However, it's crucial to note that not all open doors are from God, just as not every closed door is shut by enemies.

"The LORD was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything he did as he served in the home of his Egyptian master." (Genesis 39:2, NLT) When a man carries the presence of God, he succeeds in all that he does. Like Joseph, there may be some challenges here and there but those challenges are meant to propel us into God's plan favour and blessings and to cause us to succeed despite adversity and challenges. Beloved, from today and for the rest of your life, you will enjoy the manifest presence of God, in Jesus Name!

"And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me." (Genesis 21:6, KJV) There are the types of testimonies that one would have that would cause one to laugh and such is the type that cannot be hidden. Indeed, it is funny to tell an old woman whose womb is dead that she would bear a child because she would either laugh or term it as an insult. But because God only says what He means and mean what He says, whether they sound funny or not, they would certainly come to pass.
