One of the many Heather Andersons in the world. We are legion. I like puppets and tacos. Special interests include perfume and time travel.
For me, he was the hardest to understand- since he’s part of party leadership. I mean - none of us want them to be in lockstep to leadership all the time. We often request that they aren’t. But now would have been a good time to follow the party line. Sigh.

Did you express how great you thought Biden’s ACA expanded tax credits were when they were passed? Since losing them is such a big deal, I’m wondering if people recognized how beneficial they were before.

No. I’m saying you get 20 Democrats in a room, you may get 20 different opinions on the best approach to an issue. Add 3 independents and a couple of DSA into the mix, you’ll get more. Those 8 thought ending the shutdown was top priority. I do not agree. My senators votes reflected my opinion.

New Hampshire is a mystery to me. I don’t get that one, at all.

And impossible to know what calls they were getting from their actual constituents, as opposed to people like myself, calling from another state. I think different shut down issues mattered in different states. Fed pay freeze for VA, dangerous air travel for NV

But they probably won’t be if their actions were prompted by feedback from their constituents. I know a ton of people in CA called Kaine, including myself, but calls from VA voters mattered more. Lots of federal workers in that state.

Neither of my senators were in the eight. I think one of yours was. If you’re still in Chicago.
November 11, 2025 at 5:53 PM
They didn’t get zip. They got some federal jobs restored. But most of the Democratic senators are in agreement with you. You stand with the Democratic majority in the Senate.
November 11, 2025 at 5:50 PM
Untrue. Not that truth is really your vibe.
November 11, 2025 at 5:43 PM
So we will never agree on anything. No common ground. You try to burn it down, I’ll be fighting you. Other than that, we don’t have anything to discuss.

They never left LA. We still have kidnappings every day.

SOTUS was remade because fake progressives helped Trump get in power. That’s who overturned Roe. Everyone was warned of the consequences. It sounds like you don’t understand how our government works. Maybe someday you will.
November 11, 2025 at 4:29 PM
I think you are part of the problem. By continually attacking the one party with the capacity to bring down the current administration, you guarantee the authoritarians stay in power. You’re supporting tyranny.
November 11, 2025 at 4:24 PM
The Democrats have rarely marched in lockstep the the GOP does. It’s a consequence of being a big tent party.
November 11, 2025 at 3:39 PM
Would you have included getting those federal jobs reinstated if you were crafting a deal?
November 11, 2025 at 8:28 AM
Sure you do. Well, keep on whining. Looks like it’s doing tons of good.

They can get fired. They can get voted out.
November 11, 2025 at 8:02 AM
Tens of millions of people losing their healthcare was guaranteed to happen when Trump was elected. It’s the fault of every voter who didn’t vote for Harris. There was a simple way to keep healthcare. Expecting the minority party to somehow save it in a clinch is delusional.
November 11, 2025 at 8:01 AM
I don’t think you understand how democracies work in the real world. You seem entitled. Maybe you should run for office and show us how selflessly you serve people.
November 11, 2025 at 7:56 AM
So don’t vote. Whatever. Democracy works by choosing the better candidate. Not by waiting for the perfect candidate. Because there isn’t one. If you choose not to vote, nobody is under any obligation to serve you. Or care about your opinion. You’ve taken yourself out of the equation. Your choice.
November 11, 2025 at 7:47 AM
I think it’s kind of delusional that you are representing yourself as someone who knows “what voters want” more than people who have been elected by actual voters. Multiple times.
November 11, 2025 at 6:32 AM
That makes no sense.
