I've been wanting to do something for a long time with my nursing log from when Khải was a baby. It's overwhelming and breathtaking! The yellow areas are when I was nursing... nearly ALL THE TIME! This is his first two months of his life.

Hoping to make it into drawings and embroidery.

Sundials (Morning Glory)

My parents gardened their whole lives, before it was cool. They grew out of necessity and to preserve memory and culture. One day, hopefully, Americans will catch up to ancestral knowledge held so deep. The unfixed Van Dyke changes with time, the silver stays the same.

Here are a few circuits made with components from the factories where my parents worked. My family and many other refugee, immigrant, brown, and black families built what is now Silicon Valley and the technological economic powerhouse of the US.

On view now at the MCA-SB Satellite Space.

I got goosebumps looking through this catalog of the 50-year anniversary exhibition Vico's Spiral at the Center for Book Arts, which includes my five volume artist book, Reap the Whirlwind, produced with @forthebirdstrapped.bsky.social. Thank you CBA, artists' book makers, and readers. 🤓📚

Hi, I'm Hương Ngô, an interdisciplinary artist and educator at UCSB. I'm currently working on a project using electronic components from the factories where my parents worked. I'm activating them here using a simple oscillator and power amp, then letting chance take over.
