When your list of effective things doesn’t include investing in the actual campaign it’s easy to get confused! Look, I’ll grant the McGrath campaign was a boondoggle, and the ways dems raise money need serious reform, but you can’t win these R+10 states without massive campaigns
Me: Democrats should do effective things that make it more likely that they win Texas, South Carolina, even fucking Wyoming

It’s so perfect that the king of the Do Somethings doesn’t believe democrats should try to win in Texas. I guess if you sincerely believe being in the minority in the legislature doesn’t matter at all, why bother remedying it?
Rupert Murdoch is investing in media to try and flip California red. While it will likely fail, he is trying. Meanwhile liberal donors are still lighting money on fire to waste on campaigns in Texas and Kentucky. What could go wrong?

I think it's now possible to make a poli-sci course that equips one for modern political analysis better than most classic theory and has a syllabus sourced entirely from random internet posts.

Sounds like Army should have attempted to court Marshall.
Marshall has withdrawn from playing Army in Independence Bowl because of number of players in transfer portal, sources said. The game is Dec 28. Because most players have left campus it may be tough to find a 5-7 team to replace Marshall. Bad look by Marshall & Sun Belt
