Capitalism is a cancer. It only benefits the owner class by consolidating power into the hands of the few. It’s primary function is to keep power away from the masses. You can have markets without it. You can have ownership without it. What you can’t have is equality and equity as those are contrary

I’m convinced that older generations of democrats are more surprised about learning that democrats uphold the same corrupt system that republicans do because they’ve had more time being exposed to the smoke and mirrors being functional than younger generations who’ve never seen it very functional.

Because the democrats are largely corporatists and have the same interests as republicans. They’re playing good cop/bad cop and we need a party that doesn’t allow the rich to run shit.
