Just saw ICK at its Houston premiere last night. Kinda sorta a Houston movie. Worth seeing in theaters next weekend if you are into wild, fast-paced comic #horror. But this poster is a crime against Brandon Routh and Mena Suvari. They are still gorgeous on screen.

This week I watched the Smithereens and Barry Lyndon, and I realized Wren and Barry are the same insufferable, grafting, drifting jackass characters. Quite the convergence.

In honor of Democratic Socialism's victory, I went to Houston's only legit bagel shop and ordered the Zohran, a toasted poppyseed with scallion schmear (Hot Bagel only has chive tho.) It's very good.
