I just watch films mostly.
The dream is to work creatively.
Working on that by writing things I hope to share soon.
From the UK.

I've been writing a project very much in the vein of B movie horror on and off for over a year now. In an ideal world, it'd be ready to share soon. Could be another year.
But if gratuitous 80s/90s low-budget horror is your thing, then stick around here to see what I'm working on.
Lost in Translation (2003).

Watched Piranha Women (2022).

Watched Beach Babes from Beyond (1993).

Watched Predator: Badlands (2025). It's fun to see in real time the Predator franchise learning what else they can do with that world. The inclusion of the synthetics and other elements of the Alien franchise felt natural to the film, and Elle Fanning was a delight. Had a good time with it.

Watched Graduation Day (1981). The latest addition to my Linnea Quigley collection.

Have gone back to the first film a lot over the years and need to revisit the second, but I enjoy them a lot. Certain other attempted horror film series could learn a thing or two from Orphans authenticity in its commitment to the bit.

Watched Haunting Fear (1990)

Watched Red Lips (1995)

Watched The Predator (2018). Wish I could say I watched a better movie for Halloween but it's the only Predator movie I've skipped and wanted to have seen all of them before Badlands comes out. At least Badlands should be way better by comparison.

Went into The House on Sorority Row (1982) almost completely blind expecting little more than a campy 80s slasher based on the cover of my DVD. Made for a way creepier midnight movie than I anticipated.

Jason X (2001) will always get the respect it deserves as long as I am around.

Initially unintended cannibal family theme for tonight's watches.

The Hills Have Eyes (1977)
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986)

That time of year when, for some reason, people start talking about how much they dislike the first Friday the 13th movie. Doesn't have to be your favourite but enjoying Jason whilst disrespecting Mrs Voorhees like that ain't right and Jason wouldn't stand for it.

Going from having a ton of time to write to barely any time at all.

Despite not being much of a survival game guy, it only took me 11 years to complete Alien: Isolation. I liked the story, and the Alien vibes were all there and immersive as hell.

Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984), I will always love you

Finding catharsis in writing again. The setbacks of this year will be used to push forward towards a complete creative project.

Old enough to remember editing tools that computers just had as standard rather than the need to use third-party sites and apps to perform a basic function.

Finished Superman & Lois. Wish it could go on, but the end was also perfect. Tyler Hoechlin has kept Superman alive on screen for the last 8 years, and as it stands for me now, he's the best to ever do it. The same very much goes for Bitsie Tulloch's Lois Lane.
It went by so fast.
