Coordinating our center journal club this semester. Anyone have any general-interest (best practices, professional development, etc.) favorite paper suggestions? Happy New Year! The asshole rooster is causing trouble so we’re starting the year off trying to get chicken bibs onto our rarely handled chickens. Unsurprisingly, it’s going very poorly. An hour and a half in, exactly 3 hens are dressed.

Big week over. Harvest is over at home AAAAAANNNDDD IRB approval just came though so we can start collecting our first UNL data! Feeling pretty good about November!

And while I’m advertising things: I am recruiting 1-2 grad students this cycle! Please spread the word to your enthusiastic students excited about memory and it’s disorders. In the lab we study the human memory system applied to aging, TBI, sex hormones, and (newly) methamphetamine use disorder.
