Can just imagine them all trying to hum together and getting slightly off key as they wobble trying to maintain their towers x3

Brand refreshing, like how toy properties will be rebooted every so often to try and appear shiny and fresh

The early 2000s was the gold rush of everyone rebooting properties, but many were late to the party come the 2010s, where people were growing tired of sudden reboots

The Ghostly Adventures redesign for the Pac-Man cast always felt like Namco trying to jump on the reimagining boom of the early 2000s... Long after the ship sailed

Clyde being a big boi was easily the best design choice of the redesigns though

This system was initially debating on if we should try writing for Kyra or J'ion... But we always love an opportunity to write the Kaleon overly verbose speech pattern~

A big reason is many people, especially companies, see games just as disposable toys

That once your done playing you have to toss it and move on to the next shiny new toy

Game preservation spits in the face of that business model with the simple question of "why do I need to get rid of the old?"

And even beyond the fact some of these games and consoles' aftermarket prices are starting to really balloon, many are starting to fail from age

What good is owning an actual GameCube if the thing stops working? Or if the Discs wear tell they won't read?

Built to be durable, but not last forever

That's the thing people always forget about when it comes to limited pose to pose animation

You can still make it look super good, expressive, and fluid without the Disney level of "everything has to be moving on every given frame" style

Is all about working smarter within your limits

Every community at some point has this struggle, many still deal with it, or only just realizing they have this "in group & outsider"struggle

When opinions (like one's favorite character or work in a series) is treated as a moral dilemma to be corrected, that's when your fandom starts getting toxic
November 7, 2025 at 8:04 PM
"That can't be your favorite work in the series! You are suppose to say this one is your favorite!", "Your favorite character MUST be this one, you are liking the wrong character!"

And for the video game crowd: "No! Your playing the character wrong!" or "Your not using the optimal strat!"

Not a day goes by this system wishes we had more control on when we could go into flow state ... Instead stuck in the Procrastination episode of Spongebob
