I feel seen.
Growing up in a time when “selling out” was the most shameful thing you could do and then being forced to live through the 2020s feels like being kicked in the head by a horse every day

Following Kristallnacht, antisemitism in Germany intensified further. This shop had 'On holiday in Dachau' painted onto the front, referring to the owners' arrest and deportation to the concentration camp.

Progressives celebrating Joyce Carol Oates insulting Elon Musk is exactly what is wrong with the left these days. Musk posts stuff that all hyper tech bros do, their software, their businesses, their love of tech. Social media is about monetization to a lot of people & NOT puppies & friends.

As a scientific concept the Anthropocene is dead. But it’s such a helpful idea to think with, should we use it anyway?

I watched Poilievre in the House of Commons, he was bullying and had the smug stance of a cruel frat boy. This is his leadership.

Travel tips! Never buy the London visitor card which supposedly acts like an Oyster card. It is a total rip off. Also, never use a VISA on the tube, get an international money account with something like WISE. VISA tube rides were a fortune comparatively. Oh, #London why are you so grifty?

Great article on how exhaustingly complex the perils of energy transitioning during climate change. We've left it all too late and also been unable to comprehend the ever expanding complications of how we will mitigate the climate crisis. Lots of great info here.

“Air pollution fell substantially as Paris restricted car traffic and made way for parks, people-streets and bike-lanes.”

Better for the climate, better for health, better for livability and quality of life.

Common sense.

Such a no-brainer, it’s remarkable that more cities HAVEN’T done the same.
Paris said au revoir to cars. Air pollution maps reveal a dramatic change.
