They misidentified the intern. The judge told them they had misidentified the intern. But instead of double checking, they took that as an affront to their authority. So they surrounded the judge's car and threatened to smash the windows to get to the intern.

It was clear from testimony in AAUP v. Rubio that some very senior government officials have no idea at all what the First Amendment means. We're seeing that again here. These officials have an obligation to uphold constitutional rights but they don't know what the constitution says or means.

ICE has promised a "shitshow" tonight because their feelings are hurt that they were asked by the Broadview mayor to stop bombing the neighborhood with chemical irritants. The federal agents are rioting. @govpritzker.illinois.gov needs to respond.
A man was just chased and arrested outside of the Broadview ICE facility in Chicago. When legal observers from the National Lawyers Guild asked why, an agent threatened to arrest them too.
