THIS time, SNAP can not be defunded during said shutdown. If the Senate refuses to hold a vote on extending healthcare credits, shutdown. They just won't have the ability to starve people as a brutal negotiation tactic next time as the CR includes full SNAP funding for the rest of the fiscal year 😏

That’s the part I’ve been freaking out about bc so many will die. I was in Texas when the grid failed & in my part of town it was for only a short time but we & others just had to stay in our car. Other ppl had it much worse. Imagine for the whole winter. I can’t.
