I think that gives too much "credit" to managers. No! The players have to take responsibility. We don't put expensive price tags on players based on their ability to follow instructions better than other players, it's based on their abilities.

So, I was calm when I wrote that a few days ago. Tonight, a lot less calm but most of my frustration is directed at the players who have become afraid to make a mistake and as such are now acting as if they are afraid of actually playing 😞😢

Old enough (almost 60) to have been through quite a lot so able to be patient and recognize this for the blip that it is
