Not usually one to watch podcasts, but after a good game dev one I put on another & growing an ulcer already. Conflating gut-feel & collection of data points is one thing, but pretending gambling games don't exploit compulsive behaviours simply because the devs cut out the "bad part" aka real money?

store.steampowered.com/app/606160/?... I've not really followed it back then, but I know Routine has been in development for over a decade and now came out in what feels a bit of a stealth release?Which does make me wonder.

Was at work's xmas get together yesterday and enjoyed it a lot more than I thought. Didn't really *know* anyone and expected it to possibly feel awkward, but ended up staying until everyone left.

I was sent the new Darkwater set and this is one of the models I've been working on. I've been pumping quite a few hours into him as I really like the model! Actually I like all of the Nurgle stuff shown 😅 #PaintingWarhammer #WarhammerCommunity #AdWip #Darkwater #warhammerquest

I'm a bit wary these days when I hear roguelike/lite game, but I loved their previous game Olija so seeing they got a new one out got me excited regardless. Gave the demo a try and really enjoyed what I saw of the concept and execution of Forestrike so far.

You know when you already decided something in your gut/heart and then sort of have to justify it to yourself and sometimes also others and convince yourself to actually do it and everything feels way more complicated than it should be? Yeah. Hate it.

Predator Badlands is a movie with a lot of heart that tells you who it is from the start and unapologetically sticks to it. If you can meet it on its terms, you're in for a surprisingly enjoyable adventure.

Itching to see Predator Badlands again and that's rather unusual for me. Really want to know how it holds up for me on the second time, because I still can't quite believe just how much I enjoyed it.

Welcome to Derry has really gnarly stuff in it so far, which I'd recommend it for by itself already, but I'm quite surprised by the character writing and hope it can keep up that quality.

Random, but this and USB are on entirely opposite ends of how pleasant they are to plug in.

Between all the various art I do from painting to 3d to woodwork to whatever, do you have any favorite? (Type or piece, also I realize this probably works better for people who've followed me since the Twitter days & seen the breadth of stuff I did over time, but anyway I'm suddenly very curious.)

Took me a few matches, but I got that Fortnite Simpson victory. Truly a clown victory too at it.

Had some more off days in a row from the kitchen job lately and so I instantly stay up too late having fun making stuff for Puppy Truck. Yesterday it was time to make a new alligator clamp. Blue handle variant to follow.
