@phantomstrider.bsky.social I just saw your most recent vid and when you mentioned the 1/3 pounder it reminded me in some places you can get a 1/2 pounder too. They sell them at a US/UK chain called Wimpy. All Wimpy's were closed in Australia by 1976 because they couldn't complete with McDonald's.

It took Strider ages though, in 2017 he named her the worst character ever in a good cartoon. Since then I wonder who he hates the most now? Here's an Angelica birthday card sent to be read out on a kids TV channel. Wonder if this Emma girl acted like her? Her mum could've been dropping hints.

Whoever left this comment in character gave me a laugh though. Of course Angelica would be honoured that she makes you so angry. 😆 I do actually love her despite myself. I could never act like her but I thought she was funny. Love her claiming you can't join the army if you aren't potty-trained.

I know that at that point repeats were at 6 and new episodes were at 9, so I'm guessing uncertainty was why "Bastard" was kept, unless they also had post-watershed repeats. They left "hookers" in the 2nd ep of Futurama on first broadcast for example.

I'm glad! 💛 I got some more merch I'd like to show you cause I'm not sure if you saw my post the other day. For some reason the shop didn't have a Marge figure. I brought the Astrid Deetz one since I already had Beetlejuice and Lydia and thought I'd complete the trio.

Also brought Astrid Deetz to complete the trio of the others I showed you the other week. Gonna try and get BJ and Lydia separately because the standalone figures are different from the double pack I already have.

I saw the pop figures and needed them immediately. I think you can get her daughter too but I haven’t checked yet. At some point with my money I’m gonna get these Bart and Lisa plushies too. I used to have a Lisa years ago but I lost her. Knowing me I’ll find her immediately after getting this one.

Also got Simpsons Season 20 direct from Australia, apparently the import fee was more expensive than the actual DVD. I don't think you can get season 20 in the UK, but it was only one I was missing, so I had to complete the set.

In the New Year, apparently The Simpsons is permanently moving from regular Channel 4 to E4 instead. I know it’s only a tiny change but since it’s been on C4 since I was born I’m genuinely distraught. 💔 I know how people felt when it left the BBC now.
