It was fantastic to see so many new connections, collaborations, ideas - and friendships - forming in the time we spent together across all the sessions.

It's always a good sign when the conversations that start in the room carry on long after the sessions have finished.

Most of our team and participants should be home after last week's Global Crucible and Horizons Platform activities in Johannesburg.

Today we’re starting our in-person Global Crucible lab, bringing researchers together from the Universities of Ghana, Leeds and Wits for a day of interdisciplinary collaboration.
