I often share passages I've highlighted in books, but never before from my own book! I'm findings things that I already know but I need reminding of. Today it is about the importance of the amazing people I have around me who cheer me on and encourage me. I'm very very grateful for them.

We agree with Napoleon that "A leader is a dealer in hope". Well, they should be even though many get it wrong.

This is a moving interview with Nick Cave, reflecting on Hope (which he describes as a warrior emotion) after the death of two of his sons. It is a powerful reminder that Hope can exist in the most difficult of situations and that Hope can be contagious.

The demand for hope is growing significantly across the globe, yet a major issue is that the term 'hope' is often misunderstood as mere wishful thinking in everyday language. This couldn't be further from reality, and this quote captures the true essence beautifully.
