There's a memoir by one of the divers called Descent into Darkness (Naval Institute Press) that is quite good, and he indeed saw some horrible things. Or mostly felt and bumped into them, because it was too dark to see much inside the ships (especially USS Arizona).

All agreements with squirrels must be in writing. They will forget any verbal agreement.
Life advice:

- be kind
- tip well
- read banned books
- stay on the good side of the twig witch
- never enter into a verbal agreement with a squirrel
- dress like the Muppet you wish to be in the world

Can confirm that homemade super glue accelerator works perfectly! Never pay for this crap again! 1 tsp baking soda, 12 ounces of water and 4 ounces of alcohol. The alcohol isn't necessary but it helps the mix evaporate so you don't soak your pieces

You tighten the straps on your respirator. You can feel them pinch into the back of your head as you try to calm your breathing. Its time to descend into the steel depths. The air is cold as you open the hatch.

The unsung heroes of the attack on Pearl Harbor will always be the salvage crews. We need their story!

This might be one of the most interesting shots of the attack on Pearl Harbor that I have ever seen!

Historian Jon Parshall states that based on his research, the fuel tanks/drydocks weren't even on the list of priorities.
1. Suppression of airfield
2. Hitting targets in the harbor.

You know, Roosevelt said man's eternal fight against tyranny. I think somewhere along the line we forgot the eternal part.

The Founder's knew this, and I think if they imparted wisdom at all, it was that government is always there as a potential tool for tyrants, & that we must ALWAYS be vigilant

"The Japanese had to have seen it, yet no one took the initiative to attack it" basically defines how Japanese forces did basically everything in WW2
