Not sure what the four-day weekend holds, but the short week leading up to it has had its ups and downs. A tribute to the late Udo Kier flanked by two movies featuring possessed hands, and a latter-day MST3K movie made on the ultra-cheap.

At the old site, I once expressed dismay that I didn’t get as many Udo Kier updates as I would like, so someone took it upon themselves to do Udo Kier alerts whenever he gave an interview or showed up in a new movie. That always brightened my day. Rest in peace.

The hooded cultists from the opening scene of 1981's DEMONOID. As this is the only scene in which they appear, the film goes downhill right after.
