Diese gute Botschaft hat danach auch ein großes selbstverstärkendes Potential: Je mehr davon wissen, umso mehr kann dies die Bereitschaft zur Mitmenschlichkeit noch verstärken.

Jedenfalls taten mir beide Bücher (in diesen harten Zeiten für Demokratie und Menschenrechte) unglaublich gut.

Die beiden Bücher zusammen haben meine Vorauffassungen über das Potential des Guten in Menschen um 180 Grad korrigiert. Wie offenbar die meisten legte ich bislang die Firnistheorie zugrunde.

Das Bregman-Buch sollte, denke ich, in Schulen, Hochschulen und Medien Pflichtlektüre sein.

Faszinierend die historischen Berichte über die lange geringe "Schussquote" (sogar) unter Soldaten, die zum Töten ausgebildet werden. Die meisten Kriegsopfer erzeugten stattdessen stets die "anonymeren", distanzierteren Waffentechniken. 9/
