i love how much energy there is to all the girls too, it’s not something you often see in historical settings where things tend to be more restrained

including some of my favourite (minimal spoiler) pages/panels just for fun!! i’m going to eat this comic it’s so good lol i need to go read it again!

like watching an excruciatingly slow car wreck where every step leading to it was the worst decision ever made, Limos might actually be the most pathetic man i’ve ever read, i love it, please do read!

white text on a black background, reading: older women romance!!! absolutely fantastic horror! beautiful art and writing that has stuck in my brain for weeks now! i LOVE devotion as horror, and i love the use of the church imagery to emphasise our pov character’s object of devotion (one that would be considered sinful even setting aside the idolatry, love me some religious trauma™️) and i adore both our pov character and the love interest, they’re both Awful (i say lovingly and absolutely cheering them on) white text of a black background reading: there’s so much characterisation in such a short amount of time!! i think one of my favourite parts is [spoiler character’s] love being described as “almost polite” and “a gentle little prayer” by the love interest and pov character’s respectively, they were made for each other, the way they both view anything less than an all devouring passion in this almost contemptuous way, i love it! and the way you can never be sure if the pov character’s visions are real or a manifestation of her guilt is really fun white text on black background reading: the art is so beautiful too, and the imagery! the little characterful details! aaa please read it, i can’t recommend it enough! also as a lesbian i must add hottest two women in the whole shortbox fair they’re so??? i’m gay an illustrated cover of the comic, with the title In the Faded Light in golden cursive writing. the background features a looming church rendered in black and upside down; the rest is dark green that resembles murky water. in the foreground is a woman sinking headfirst into the water, she looks calm or resigned. an inky hand grasps her ankle.

thanks for the thread! i’m Sian, a disabled artist, it takes me a long time to finish things bc of my disability but i do love to draw! mostly ffxiv oc’s and whatever fandom is my current special interest at the moment
