Moving at a slow, slow clip, I finally have finished another book this year: Clockwork Boys by T. Kingfisher

I was demoralized by my previous read of hers, but this brought me back fully. Love the imperfect protagonists, self-flagellating paladin, and innovative magic system. Quick read, 10/10
