I don’t think may non-trans people understand this isn’t about international travel. Passports function as identification for those of us from red states that prohibit gender marker changes.

This is a good story but I don't think sincerely inquiring about someone's well being is the same thing as small talk (and part of the problem with small talk is that it's actually out of place to give a sincere answer to "how are you")

There are definitely also people who have changed their minds, I just mean, when you compare a county's vote between a presidential year and an offyear election you need to bear in mind that you are talking about a different electorate
