I released new music last week. This song is called You are not a Wallflower.
It was an attempt to create something equally pretty and defiant. Super inspired by Four Tet and Boards of Canada.
It’s on all the streaming platforms. Visualiser by local idm wizard flip for Garth.
More hydrophone recording.
The sound of Ice melting in warm water with an ambient asf 1 mk 2.

We started sound fx predubbing the film I have been working on for the past year this week.

Really nice to see it all come together.

Also to be reminded I’m working with some of the best in the world at this shit.

Released my first single as hominid a year ago today. Incredibly proud of the sound I found with this one. I think it epitomises what I want Hominid to sound like - Pretty, introspective, adventurous, a little bit ambient, a little bit clubby.

Because purchasing music is an active thought process and that’s the antithesis to consuming slop of any medium.

The Japanese musician, who wasn’t widely known before his death in 2003, has become a beacon for listeners on YouTube and beyond.

NZs music scene is so crazy. The amount of times I have seen people doing truely world class shit on a wednesday night at a tiny venue to like 15 people actually pains me.
