Just had a Polish graphic artist produce a visual of that day for me. Provided him with the damage as noted by my grandfather and his crew, he did the rest. I added an abridged version of the 9th AF (TDY from the 8th) account at the bottom.

Fantastic, fantastic museum. Standing in the Air Sea Rescue Room was surreal as that would have been where they coordinated my grandfather's rescue following his shoot down on July 19, 1943. We also went up out of town and found the RNS Hospital where he recovered from his wounds. Still standing.

Never heard of this one.

Hopefully we get bounced in the group stage.
