I thought prior to the general mayoral election that this manifested as a boost to high ranking vote share. I now think that this manifests as a coordination-free form of co-partisanship for latent parties.

The election did make me change my mind about RCV in one way. Eitan Hirsch expressed a bit of skepticism of MA 1 (RCV ballot measure in 2020), stating specifically that he thought it gave an advantage to famous people in running for office.
