A new companion has joined the TARDIS 🐈‍⬛

Meet Clara! She is a one year old teeny thing (only 7 pounds) and came home yesterday. She is doing super well and Tonks is handling her SO well (there was a tiny bit of hissing yesterday but lots of friendly sniffs today)

April's official book was Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas and y'all I get the hype now. This was so emotional and good and cute and I loved it a whole lot. It was a very trans month and I am not mad about it
May 14, 2025 at 7:08 AM
Now April had some real bangers. Started off with A Gentleman's Gentleman by T.J. Alexander which hit it good for me. A trans romance set in the Regency era? Sign me the FUCK up

Last March read was The Secret Service of Tea and Treason by India Holton. Bro I was SO confused reading this and then I found out there were other books before it. Would have probably enjoyed it more with ✨context✨

March was a ROUGH reading month. A Song to Drown Rivers by Ann Liang had a lot of potential but just fell flat for me. And the ending just made me straight up MAD.

Long overdue update of reading starting with March's book of the month - Her Body and Other Parties by Carmen Maria Machado. More short stories! Hard to describe ones too. Lots of feminism and queerness with a side of existentialism

April 26, 2025 at 7:13 PM
Thanks. I'm currently booted with tendonitis for the foreseeable future but it is feeling better

Here is several seconds of Tonks being loved on to help cleanse your doom scrolling

Also read in March - A Song to Drown Rivers by Ann Liang. Listen. I am not a sad endings person. So this one just made me mad. I am still upset and will continue to be upset and not in a good 'this made me better' kind of way. In the wtf was that shit way.

February's official book was On Writing by Stephen King and honestly? Very meh energy. The autobiographical bits were interesting but the advice wasn't always my favorite. Would have been more productive for ten years ago me tbh.
