My Reform councilor didn't like my Dover Queers Against Fascists sign at Dover Pride today. Sincere apologies to any fascists or fans of genocide who felt unwelcome at Pride today.

That's a message I think is truly beautiful. So my question is does bringing in these kinds of political messages change the meaning of pride? Is it still about the universal call for love and acceptance or is it becoming something different? And perhaps more importantly, do people carrying a Palestinian flag really understand how incredibly hard and dangerous it is to be openly gay in Palestine? I know. I know by sharing this I may be giving those signs more attention than they deserve but I'd really like to understand what's going on here. Especially my friends in the community what are your thoughts." Trans pride was so good. It's amazing how being surrounded by thousands of trans people all day makes me want to stay alive. 10/10 would recommend.

Those of us who emailed to complain to Kent libraries have started receiving replies today which double down on the commitment to ensure that no children will be EXPOSED to trans adult literature. Because trans, like all moral panics, is a contagion.

Did you know that although Section 28 was repealed in 2003, Kent County Council was the only council in England which voted to uphold their own version of section 28 all the way up until 2010. Way before Reform existed.

Sometimes it is so hard being an Eastenders fan you have no idea. I'm writing a complaint email to the BBC immediately and requesting that my vote in the soap award is cancelled.

I have collaborated with my friend @hollycasio.bsky.social on this script about how the government’s planned benefit cuts make me feel like I’m going batshit crazy and THAT IS DELIBERATE
Holly has done an absolutely brilliant job bringing my script to life and I wish I had the hair she’s drawn me.

5 years ago today I shared The Lard Situation for the first time, probably the greatest comic I will ever make. I love how this captures my Nan's confusion of mutual aid and hoarding. She passed away almost 3 years ago now but I can still hear this comic in her voice.

A friend who was out as a gay man during Section 28 was telling me the advice he used to give to straight allies asking how they could help back then: stand in solidarity with us so that some of the shit they’re throwing at us sticks to you. If you’re clean, you’re not standing close enough.
