Tip for nurses: Facing C. auris EBP are indicate and training is vital bcs misuse can harm > help, but standard precautions must audit & retrain onfacility‑wide for ALL pros., not just in ward affected by #cauris S.P. are the base and applied very strictly avert most issues #IDsky

I greatly appreciated the brief article in @contagionlive.bsky.social
on the current #H5N1 situation. With precision it conveys information without circumlocution, succinctly illustrating that we are "flying blind and through a storm."

Interesting study. Small, retro-long-term cohort with limited center distribution may have excessive data heterogeneity for strong epidemiological conclusions, but as a nurse, not an epidemiologist, I defer reviews to true experts. Thanks for the promising article!

US is undoubtedly a first-world country in nearly every respect except healthcare. While it boasts some of the world's most outstanding research, it also has one of the most underperforming healthcare systems among developed nations and things began to go awry after Carter's presidency. #JimmyCarter

Perhaps it is the yrs spent navigating challenging operating rooms that have shaped a peculiar sense of humor, but I fear that if this bird flu turns interhuman, it might lose all charm. Nevertheless, with ChatGPT's assistance, I offer a tribute to your brilliant response. May optimism never waver:

I’m on your side. It's surprising that professionals are unaware that masks, quarantines, and other epidemic mitigation methods have been effective and well-known since ancient times. I'll take it with a sense of humor, there's no need to use the same masks as in the 14th century, but please...
