Totally agree, it doesn't make sense from his point of view. I'd imagine Chelsea paid a decent loan fee to Brighton which swung it in their favour.

This is exactly what most reasonable people expected to happen. It doesn't help that others are comparing it to Bielsa's first season.

I remember walking down to Elland Road for that Stoke game with my dad and I predicted we would lose 4-0. I've never been so shocked by a performance in 30 years of following them. People who don't follow Leeds will never understand the difference that man made.

We desperately missed Bogle on the right. It felt like a lot of stuff broke down whenever Schmidt was involved. A bit concerned we don't look like creating much with this formation.

You could say we got played but, on the other hand, Marseille have also had to pay significantly more for him had we not been in the race. They'll be cursing the fact we were ever in for him. Swings and roundabouts!

Nmecha and Bornauw were kept fairly quiet. We only found out about those two when they were doing their medicals.

The only player I'd have back in this team is Adams. Love him or hate him, he was easily our best player and I feel his injury was a major factor in our relegation.

Schmidt is a strange one. Farke clearly doesn't trust him and even chose Wöber to play left back instead of him against Derby and Boro. He's obviously not doing something right in training!
