11 years ago today, I had what would be my last drink - resulting in the X-rays below. I knew then that my only choice was to stop or someone (me or - God forbid - someone else) would die. My life is so much better better now for stringing together these 4,019 days! 🥰

Remembering my dad, Randal Cecil, today on the 23rd anniversary of his suicide at age 50. I have thought of him more as I became the age he was where events in his life started his descent into the deep depression that he ultimately could not escape. He’d be 73 if he had lived.
