For around 40 permanent jobs our officials are willing to sell us out to an increased surveillance state and a technology that makes society quantifiably dumber. Not to mention increasing our already rapidly rising utility rates. Yay

Even if they create jobs, they don’t create wealth for the workers. They hoard it for themselves. It’s a cycle that needs to end permanently.
