I had bought this book a while back but just got around to reading it. I think she should've written the younger characters slightly older, but overall, an interesting "what if?" Washington had allowed himself to be king?

For most, that PTO is earned as you work, meaning that it accrues based on a % of hours worked. So somebody who works part time will accrue less PTO than a full-time worker.

Once you pull the turkey out of the oven, let it rest covered in its pan for 10-20 min. before you start cutting it. This allows the meat to relax & reabsorb its liquids so it's juicy.

350°F for about 75-90 minutes. (~20 min for every pound of turkey)
If you got a turkey breast w/skin on, peel the foil off for the last 5-10 min of baking to allow the skin to brown.

Turn up the edges of the pan to prevent dripping. (Stuffing should be no more than 2/3-3/4 as deep as the pan.) Cover the pan with foil; make sure it is right around the edges.

First: if you're cooking the turkey, & it's still in your freezer, get that bird into your fridge asap! Whole turkeys take a couple days to defrost. Your bird will cook faster, more evenly, & better if it's thawed out first.
I'm going to talk turkey for small parties.
