I love this paper. It is a culmination (well, maybe there will be a book) of a long-time agenda on how regime type conditions the (causal!) effect of education on political participation. Within this paper, and across 3 papers, we show that there is an inverted-U relationship.

ITAM Alumni Conference will take place on Friday, August 15. In addition, this year, the day after the Alumni conference, we are trying to organize a Friends of ITAM Political Economy workshop.
