This exactly
There was a million better ways to message this outcome.

And what’s worse is that the caucus is all over the place on that messaging.

Whether because the prerogatives of the Senate is independence or because he doesn’t have the strategic chops. This is clearly a Schumer responsibility.

I've got no problem with a compromise bill that gets the government going again, especially one like this that gets more than the CR status quo.

What frustrates me is the messaging, or lack thereof. Why aren't the five senators out there explaining their plan and selling it to the country??

As long as NYT is asking “Did women ruin the workplace” can they also ask:
•Did men ruin safe workplaces?
•Did men ruin domestic safety?
•Did men ruin public safety?
•Did men ruin global peace?
Or is a clear “YES” to all these questions just too difficult for fragile men to accept—so NYT avoids it?🤔

Instead of sending hundreds of billions of dollars to the military, we will send it directly TO THE PEOPLE, SO THEY CAN PURCHASE THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER MILITARY, including aircraft carriers with good STEAM CATAPULTS instead of USELESS MAGNET CATAPULTS THAT DON'T WORK AND DRIVE THE WHALES CRAZY!!!!

Georgia Democrats had not won a statewide race that wasn't for a federal office since 2006.

They won two races tonight, both against GOP incumbents.

The margins? 62% to 38% in both.

we must frame tonight as a resounding victory — an electoral landslide, a mandate from the universe itself

and as a repudiation of MAGA, of Trump, and of vichy democrats

we must be relentless, we must not shut up
