@nytimes.com spends way more time bemoaning the lack of resistance than covering it when it happens. This is the top of the front page; it feels very like nothing happened yesterday.

Me realizing I’ve been added to the national security group chat:

So now, is my school going to have to be performatively cruel to our trans or immigrant kids, lest its employees suffer? We won’t, and we shouldn’t, and they will.
