We travelled down to Belem and had THE pasteis. Walked around in the dysfunctional weather. Got back and hung out until it was time for Sporting v Farense in a cup match, which was a great game. A tremendous atmosphere for a half-full cup tie. Homeward bound tomorrow.

Was a chill day as it was All Saints Day. We had brunch, then went to Sporting (again) for roller hockey. Outstanding game, they were up 5-1 at half, the visitors made it 5-4 with 3 mins remaining, but a last second penalty made it 7-4 and we are now a Sporting family.

We took a day trip to Sintra, an area with a former royal family castle atop of a mountain. Round trip was less than €6, then there was admission + transit. The castle was super picturesque and the weather completely held out. Only rained when we were indoors. Two more nights then home.

Took it easy-ish, found a foot massage ball, had bubble tea at a cafe, then headed for paella which was absolutely exquisite. Missus bought some cute rings and a backpack. Tomorrow we are going to attempt Sintra. Also, all my clothes makes me look like a tourist and it's getting to me.

Went to Time Out Market, rammed with tourists, and tried pasteis de nata gelato. Picked up canned sardines and tuna. Watched Sporting defeat Avunca in handball 40-31. Got back to watch a crazy CanPL final and Forge win w/ a comeback extra time olympico! Weather still dysfunctional.

The one flight steward was excited to my Miyoo Mini Plus (a gameboy that plays everything) that he wanted to know what it was called and where to get it. We landed, uber'd, taxied, checked in and got my deliveries at the hotel, had McDonalds, grabbed snacks and did laundry.

Hotter than was ready for. Went into city centre. Drank 5 ciders over the course of the day. Had a delicous steak dinner. My muscles are sore from the damn hills. Tommorow is a travel day to Lisbon.

For my next post, here's a soccer kit I designed for a charity fundraiser with various Canadian soccer supporters groups in support of Rainbow Railroad.
Flattered to be asked to be part of the project.
