Can we remind the news that we do not need reporters to play hero and go outside in the red warning areas?

Disruption to power & water supplies are likely. Significant wind damage possible due to gusting of 80-100MPH. Many schools/businesses have closed.
Don’t take the risk of travelling, this is a very serious storm system.

Can we remind the news that we do not need reporters to play hero and go outside in the red warning areas?

Wow.
Nearly the whole of Ireland is now under a red severe weather warning for Friday. Worth noting the Irish met warnings are threshold based so a little different to the Met Office warning system.
But still, this is rather significant!
