Some weird #Crew96 facts from this season:

• Crew took points in all 6 games against the West
• 4W-3D-1L against the 6 teams that have already qualified for playoffs
• 6W-3D-1L against the bottom 6 in the East
• Second leading scorer has 2 goals since 05/17, no shots taken since 07/25

In no instance is it acceptable for America’s Hardest Working Team to be so easily out hustled and out worked. These issues are starting to feel cultural. #Crew96

Okay I will say it. Issa Out. Attempting to go an entire season without a central center back is negligent roster mismanagement. Add in how is completely changed the dynamic in 2023 and it’s an insult to everybody watching that we didn’t sign one. The roster YoY is objective worse. Issa Out

For the first time ever, Cincinnati outperforms Columbus in the transfer windows for a full season. Unthinkable that this could happen so immediately after Bez departed.
🟠🔵 What an unbelievable deadline day for FC Cincinnati.

Late deal for Brenner is done and if Dominik Marczuk goes thru (as expected), it adds to what was already one of MLS's best teams.

Club tied for Shield lead and among favorites for MLS Cup.

New look depth chart.

Wessam’s here, Columbus! 💛🖤 Make it a MASSIVE welcome on the pitch + off through the PCRF, helping kids in Palestine + across the region. #Crew96:

This is the only guy #Crew96 have had their names attached to all summer for the huge hole at CB. You have to wonder if Issa was ready for this role.
Chicago Fire departure and signing being finalized, per sources:

⬅️🇨🇴 Carlos Teran to Athletico Paranaense

➡️🇨🇦 Joel Waterman in from CF Montréal (@maximetruman.bsky.social 1st)

Darlington Nagbe became buy down eligible in December 2023. A team that was bounced in the first round changed nothing in the winter window. Self proclaimed “two windows ahead” GM had no plan for Cucho’s departure. Issa Tall killed the golden years.
Less than 12 months ago the Columbus Crew were the best club team in North America.

If Issa Tall isn’t on the hot seat after tonight, then the hot seat doesn’t exist. Asleep at the wheel.

Did yall see house Dems laugh at MTG? That was so funny haha. Almost as funny as doing literally anything as a form of resistance to this bullshit. Every day Dems show up to work peacefully is a day lost to fascism

@massive-report.com just finished this weeks pod. I’d like to propose my conspiracy theory to you.

The team is not only inducting somebody into the ring of honor, but they are relocating it inside the stadium. It makes sense to move it now during the construction.

Here’s my case for #Crew96 going big this summer and making waves with a new DP9 signing:

The player in question? Evan Ferguson. 20 year old Ireland international with Brighton (on loan to West Ham).

1. He signed his current (large) contract with Brighton when de Zerbi was manager.

@massive-report.com just listened to the pod. Great stuff as usual! Re: is Gazdag the “big move” - I’m taking his choice to wear #8 and leave the #9 open as a big clarifying detail that a DP 9 is still on the table.

Julian Gressel to DC United is the duo us sickos deserve. Servicing to Benteke would feed families.
April 15, 2025 at 8:52 PM
@massive-report.com favorite Crew player that wasn’t all that good? Stephen Lenhart. The Lenhart-Marshall set piece duo was legendary.

Take both World Cup matches away from SoFi and LA. Southern California is not friendly territory for USMNT.

Idk the answer, but it’s not Dylan Chambost. Let’s lose him in the summer window #Crew96

The failures of the front office are over 12 months in the making. If Issa doesn’t wake up on the hot seat tomorrow we won’t be a serious club for a long time. Just complete & total mismanagement from the top down. The panic button should’ve been pressed in January ‘23. The signs were there #Crew96

Need to go on the record here for posterity that a 12 team CFP will ultimately ruin the sport. “The Game” went from deciding the national champ in 2023 to meaning nothing in 2024. A two loss team won the natty for the second time since 1960 (the other being 2007 which could possibly be the weirdest

Without any guidance or expertise I’m recommending #Crew96 explore bringing in Rokas Pukštas as the Aidan Morris replacement. 20 y/o American with duel citizenship means no int’l slot. SKC academy player so MLS isn’t foreign to him. Currently with Hajduk Split (one of the best club in Croatia).
