It was mussels (which I tucked into without pausing to photograph - delicious, very simple broth, no wine that I could discern, no cream), tagliatelle with “fish trim” - sea bream, monkfish, turbot, and the inevitable gorgeous tiramisu + espresso
OH had caprese, lasagne and tiramisu

A-W- is this your new minesweeper? Sorry it’s not a great pic. It wasn’t terribly far from us, but difficult to get a decent pic as we were shooting straight into the sun. There was another minesweeper (with a lower number, so I deduced it was older?) and a frigate

Lovely day yesterday, exploring Hamburg. We found the lovely Alten ElbeTunnel, which took us from the port, under the river, and to a brewery!
6 miles walked - today will be a lazy one, though still a few steps on deck

I think these cruisers are being refitted in the Meyer shipyard, Hamburg
That was our view once we had walked from our berth to the old Elbe tunnel and crossed beneath the river. Fascinating. Started 1901, complete 1911. Old lifts for pedestrians & cyclists only. All tiled, like the tube

Today I will bathe and clip/trim the dog, then get my own hair cut. Then it’s pretty much Holiday Here We Come for Saturday morning.
