That sort of rhetoric continues to this day. Still, we have a growing body of work, including writing, art and images, and events, that not only counter those negative messages but also give us something positive to look forward to. It is way beyond anything I could do on my own." 🧵

Just trying to clarify! Were you able to figure out how to navigate the app for free or do you need some help from our support team?

We hear your anger, friend, but it is based on a misunderstanding. The monthly fee you're referring to is an optional subscription to Premium features which are not required to match with others- so Hiki can be free to use!
Please remember that there is a real person on the other side of the screen♥️

We offer a free platform with fully functioning matching, messaging, and posting features and no ads. As a company, we do need to bring in money to pay for servers and neurodivergent employees, but we designed it so you don't have to pay a single cent to use Hiki if you can't afford to ♥️

We are intimately aware of poverty/unemployment rates in neurodivergent adults, which is why we created all-new features for our optional Premium tier, so nobody would be losing anything to a paywall. Please let us know if you have questions about how to make new connections on Hiki as a free user ♥️

It sounds like you may be more upset at the realities of capitalism than our small company, my friend. We made sure that free users can still access matching, messaging, and posting in the community feed, but no income = neurodivergent employees working for free and no way to pay for app servers.
